JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS
Service Technician
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency in accordance with dealership expectations with a positive attitude
- Complete vehicle inspection, focusing on any other work done, sending a MPI video every time to the service advisor for the customer
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate with parts and the Service Director as needed to get items accomplished timely
- Focus on continual growth and learning within the manufacturer supplied training for the brand
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership, preferably Mazda
- Strong understanding of the service drive customer experience expectation
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer competencies, comfortable with multiple systems running at once
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to work M-F 7:15am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-2:30pm
PAY RANGE : $15.00-$72.50 per Flat Rate Hour - paid Semi-Monthly
